2024 Spring Committee Meetings experiences record-breaking week

Missouri lawyers came in strong during the 2024 Spring Committee Meetings, setting a 5,600-plus attendance record. Held April 29-May 3, the virtual event featured 25 meetings hosted by 27 committees.

“Thank you to all members who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend the Spring Committee Meetings!” said Krista Lepper, director of committees and meetings at The Missouri Bar. “We are going into our fifth year of virtual committee meetings, and we are coming in strong with record numbers.”

The Women in the Profession Committee also broke the attendance record for an individual meeting during committee meetings, with over 550 people attending its April 30 meeting and CLE, Lepper said. The committee, chaired by Amy Bender-Levy and Stephanie Wan, hosted a CLE called “United WE Appointments Project – Improving Gender Diversity on Boards and Commissions,” with panelists Wendy Doyle, Danielle Kincaid, Debbie Dodge, Brittney Southworth, Marissa Rosen, Kristy Lambert, Christa Moss, and Alissia Canady.

“The committee chairs work hard to find relevant CLE topics, and your attendance speaks volumes to the quality of programming offered,” Lepper said.
