2026 Family Law Conference returns to Branson in August

With 40 breakout sessions and five plenary sessions, The Missouri Bar’s 2026 Annual Family Law Conference offers opportunities for lawyers to gain knowledge and improve skills specific to the practice of family law. Presented by MoBarCLE and The Missouri Bar Family Law Committee, the conference will be held in Branson and virtually Aug. 20-22.

Attendees can meet industry professionals and connect with other lawyers and judges while learning about topics covering:

• Generational differences
• Effective trial preparation and advocacy
• Ethical AI usage
• Family pets
• Mediation tips and new standards
• Custody and guardianship
• Interviews involving children
• Orders of protection

Along with the numerous breakout sessions and plenaries, the Family Law Conference will include two judicial panels, a mental health panel, and four specialized tracks — Guardian Ad Litem, basics, paralegal, and business management.

Lawyers can earn 16.2 MCLE, 1.0 Ethics, 1.0 Bias, and 9.0 GAL credit at the conference.
