This week the Budget Conference committees met and resolved the differences between the House and Senate proposed operating budgets (HB 2002-HB 2013) and the capital improvement bills (HB 2017-2019).

The Conference Committee Reports were taken up and passed in both the House and Senate and sent to the Governor.

With only one week left in the session, the pace of the legislature is increasing. Sponsors are looking for opportunities to amend omnibus bills with their own bills.
