Board of Governors appoints three to ABA House of Delegates

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors appointed three Missouri Lawyers as ABA House of Delegates during its meetings this summer. As delegates, these lawyers will work with the American Bar Association to formulate policy and act as the governing body for the Association. 

At its May 19, 2023, meeting, The Missouri Bar Board of Governors appointed the following Missouri lawyers as ABA House of Delegates: 

Sheena Hamilton, St. Louis, reappointed as a delegate-at-large to the ABA House of Delegates, for a term beginning at the conclusion of the ABA Annual Meeting in 2023 and ending at the conclusion of the ABA Annual Meeting in 2025. 

Portia J. Britt, Florissant, as a young lawyer delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, for a term beginning at the conclusion of the ABA Annual Meeting in 2023 and ending at the conclusion of the ABA Annual Meeting in 2025. 

At its July 14, 2023 meeting, The Missouri Bar Board of Governors appointed John W. Grimm, Cape Girardeau, as a past president delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, for a term of two years expiring at the conclusion of the 2025 ABA Annual Meeting. Grimm replaces past president of The Missouri Bar Dana Tippin Cutler, Kansas City, whose term expires at the conclusion of the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting held in early August.
