Board of Governors to meet at 2022 Annual Meeting

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors is set to meet Wednesday, Sept. 14, in conjunction with the bar’s 2022 Annual Meeting in Springfield.

The board, which is comprised of Missouri lawyers elected by their peers to represent their respective geographical areas, will discuss a range of matters, including financial updates and new committee and commission appointments.

Additionally, the meeting will include a presentation by the 2021-22 Leadership Academy and consideration of new program proposals from the board’s Strategic Planning Committee based on recommendations from the Lawyers Living Well Special Committee and the Special Committee on Lawyers of Color. The board will also recognize its members who are concluding their service this year, including Immediate Past President John Gunn.

Following the conclusion of the final business meeting of the 2021-22 Board of Governors, the 2022-23 Board of Governors will convene for the first time to elect officers and members of the executive committee for the coming bar year.
