Board of Governors to meet Friday

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, which consists of members elected to represent lawyers from their respective districts, will meet Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, via video conference.

During the meeting, the board will review the bar’s proposed 2022 budget, hear about upcoming 2022 meetings and CLE conferences, and review applications to fill the vacant District 9 seat. The board will also review resolutions to create two standing committees – one regarding government relations and the other on legislative review.

The bar’s president, president-elect, vice president, treasurer, executive director, and Government Relations Department will present reports to the board. The Young Lawyers’ Section Council, Client Security Fund Committee, and Member Services and Resources Committee will also provide updates during Friday’s meeting.

There are several committees that will have upcoming vacancies, which the board will discuss during the meeting.
