Board of Governors to meet March 2

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors will convene March 2 for its first meeting of 2023. The board is comprised of Missouri lawyers elected by their peers to represent their respective geographical areas.

The meeting, which will be held at The Missouri Bar Center in Jefferson City, will include updates from the Missouri Board of Law Examiners and the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. In addition to regular reports from bar officers, board members will be informed of developments related to bar finances, the Special Committee on Lawyers of Color, expanded remote public access and related redaction resources, and the state’s current legislative session.

The bar’s Appointments Committee will also ask the board to consider five reappointments on a variety of commissions.
