Board of Governors will meet March 8

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, which is comprised of Missouri lawyers elected by their peers to represent their respective geographical areas, will convene Friday, March 8, in Jefferson City.

In addition to hearing financial summaries and reports from officers, board members will welcome University of Missouri School of Law Dean Paul J. Litton and University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Dean Lumen Mulligan. The two will provide updates on their respective universities.

In addition, the board will learn about legislative developments, consider a proposed rule amendment to the Fee Dispute Resolution Committee, hear about ongoing activities of the Young Lawyers’ Section Council, and receive an update on a recent evaluation of the Missouri Lawyers’ Assistance Program.

The Missouri Bar's Board of Governors meet several times a year to conduct the business of The Missouri Bar and keep abreast of issues. See past meeting minutes, as well as future meeting dates, here.
