Catherine Moore reappointed to Complaint Resolution Program Committee

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, at its Nov. 18, 2020, meeting, voted to reappoint Catherine Moore to the Complaint Resolution Program Committee.

The committee administers The Missouri Bar’s Complaint Resolution Program, an alternative method for the resolution of lawyer disciplinary complaints. The program works to resolve complaints referred by the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel (OCDC) under Supreme Court Rule 5.10.

The Missouri Bar sponsors this program to provide the public and the legal profession a system to work together to ensure clients receive quality service. During the resolution process, clients and lawyers have an opportunity to meet, be heard, and attempt to resolve the issue at hand in a conference or meeting. All proceedings within the program are confidential.

Moore is one of several Missouri lawyers from across the state who serve as volunteer facilitators to assist parties in resolving referred complaints. She is of counsel to Kirkland, Woods & Martinsen in Springfield, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, business succession planning, and mediation.
