Connect with a peer volunteer for help with mental health, substance use concerns
If you are a legal professional struggling with anxiety, depression, other mental health or substance use concerns, MOLAP can connect you to a peer volunteer who has faced similar challenges.
Volunteers with lived experience have prioritized well-being in their own lives and actively offer their assistance to others, helping ensure a healthy legal community. The volunteer can provide a safe, confidential space to discuss challenges and strategies for working through them.
Remember, your well-being can impact your ability to serve your clients and communities. Having a strong social network provides support, reduces isolation, and fosters a sense of belonging in the legal community.
To connect with a peer volunteer at no cost, call MOLAP at 1-800-688-7859. To volunteer as a peer volunteer, please complete this form and check “Peer Support” under “Volunteer Interests.”
Learn more about social well-being — as well as physical, spiritual, career & intellectual, and emotional well-being — during Well-Being Week in Law, May 5-9. The well-being activities and programs offered during WWIL were developed to protect the integrity and competency of the legal profession and help lawyers even better serve their clients and communities.
