Court clerks: Empower the public with free legal resources
Missouri court clerks play a crucial role in assisting the public but are not able to provide legal advice. The Missouri Bar is here to help with a wealth of FREE resources to empower citizens facing legal challenges or navigating the court system.
Find free resources for all Missourians on the following two websites:
MissouriLawyersHelp.org: This user-friendly website provides a comprehensive library of downloadable materials. Topics include:
- Client resources on finding a lawyer, understanding the legal process, and more
- Specific legal areas like probate, business, family law, and senior citizen concerns
- Disaster preparedness and recovery resources
- Downloadable Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care form that helps individuals make informed decisions about their future healthcare
ShowMeRights.org: There are a lot of things young people need to know about turning 18. The Missouri Bar Young Lawyer’s Section created a website with information that can help. From consumer rights to voting, ShowMeRights.org can help them navigate becoming adults.
Spread the word:
- All materials are available for free download at MissouriLawyersHelp.org.
- While not all resources are available in print, you can request them through the online order form.
