Emily Little appointed to Client Security Fund Committee

During its December 2021 meeting, The Missouri Bar Board of Governors appointed Emily Little to the Client Security Fund Committee.

The six-member Client Security Fund Committee administers the Client Security Fund, which the Board of Governors established in 1966 as a resource to clients harmed by the minority of lawyers who don’t adhere to the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct per the Supreme Court of Missouri.

Emily Little serves as counsel in the University of Missouri System General Counsel Office in Columbia. She graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law and joined The Missouri Bar in 2000.

Little said she is honored to be appointed to the Client Security Fund and believes the committee is a “great opportunity.”

“I look forward to participating in the important responsibilities of this committee and helping to promote confidence in the administration of justice,” she added.

Little replaced Shira Truitt, whose term expired in December 2021. Little’s term will end Dec. 31, 2026.
