Robert “Bob” J. Banstetter, age 81, of St. Louis, on May 7, 2022. Banstetter worked at General American Life Insurance Company as a corporate attorney, vice president, general counsel, and head of the law division. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1967. Banstetter served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Ronald N. Bellamy, age 78, of Wentzville, on April 11, 2022. Bellamy worked for the U.S. government for 20 years and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1983. Bellamy served in the U.S. Army.

Thomas Darin Boggs, age 57, of St. Louis, on Sept. 30, 2022. Boggs was a partner at Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, where he worked for 22 years. He graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1991.

Hon. Donald Edward Bonacker, age 89, of Springfield, on Jan. 6, 2022. He was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1959.

Edwin B. Brzezinski Sr., age 91, of Crestwood, on Oct. 31, 2022. Brzezinski was an assistant U.S. attorney. He was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1958. Brzezinski served in the U.S. Army.

Ernest M. Fleischer, age 89, of Kansas City, on Jan. 18, 2022. Fleischer was a tax law partner at Stinson, Mag and Fizzell before serving as chairman of Franklin Savings Association. He also practiced at Husch Blackwell. He attended Harvard Law School and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1959. Fleischer served in the U.S. Army.

Hon. James A. Grantham, age 83, of Sunrise Beach, on Dec. 14, 2021. Grantham served as Miller County associate circuit judge. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1969. Grantham served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Andrew J. Hager Jr., age 83, of Shell Knob, on March 19, 2022. Hager served as Republic municipal judge, Mount Vernon city attorney, and Lawrence County prosecutor. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1969. Hager served in the U.S. Army and Missouri Army National Guard.

Eric C. Hensic, age 69, of High Ridge, on June 5, 2022. Hensic owned and operated Eric C. Hensic law firm. He was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1978.

Ronald A. Leggett, age 88, of St. Louis, on Nov. 17, 2022. Leggett was a circuit attorney and worked at several organizations including the Collector of Revenue, the Boy Scouts of America, and Box 8 Club. He graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1976. Leggett served in the U.S. Army.

Hon. John Michael Moon, age 70, of Denver, CO, on Sept. 30, 2022. Moon served as Clark County associate circuit judge for 32 years. He then served as Clark County prosecutor. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1977.

Hon. Richard H. Mos Jr., age 81, of Lanthrop, on Nov. 26, 2022. Mos was in private practice and served as Platte County magistrate judge before working at High Life Sales Company. He was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1965.

Burton W. Newman, age 76, of St. Louis, on Nov. 5, 2022. Newman was a lawyer in St. Louis for five decades and worked on pro bono cases for Missouri ACLU, serving as general counsel for the St. Louis chapter for several years. He was an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law for 10 years. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1972.

Michael G. O’Flaherty, age 84, of Kansas City, on Sept. 26, 2022. O’Flaherty was a real estate lawyer for 58 years and worked at Stinson, Mag and Fizzell – now known as Stinson LLP – for 42 years. He later practiced at Vincent F. O’Flaherty Attorney, LLC and was appointed as Jackson County assessor. He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1962.

Joseph R. Pauley, age 91, of Wildwood, on Oct. 8, 2022. Pauley worked at Ralston Purina Co. He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1959. Pauley served in the U.S. Army.

Robert M. Phipps, age 92, of Lexington, KY, on Aug. 5, 2021. Phipps worked as a patent lawyer for different corporations, including as senior patent counsel at Bausch and Lomb, Inc. and assistant secretary at Velsicol Chemical Corporation. He was later in private practice in New York and Kentucky. He graduated from Akron University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1966. Phipps served in the U.S. Army.

Hon. Kenneth M. Romines, age 80, of Fenton, on Oct. 3, 2022. Romines was a judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals-Eastern District, a circuit judge for St. Louis County, an assistant Missouri attorney general, and a private practice lawyer. Romines graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1969.

Gabriela I. Sevilla, age 29, of Baltimore, MD, on Oct. 10, 2022. Sevilla was a lawyer at the National Homelessness Law Center. She graduated from Howard University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 2020.

William L. Stewart, age 90, of St. Louis, on June 19, 2022. Stewart graduated from Washington University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1957.

Gerald “Jerry” L. Suddarth, age 78, of O’Fallon, on Sept. 27, 2022. Suddarth practiced at Suddarth & Koor in O’Fallon. He graduated from Memphis State University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar 1974. Suddarth served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Wayne A. Tenenbaum, age 80, of Kansas City, on Jan. 23, 2022. Tenenbaum served as property assessor in Jackson County and formed Tenenbaum-Hill Associates, a property tax assessment firm. He was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1966.

Lenore “Tony” T. Weldon, age 65, of Holts Summit, on Oct. 13, 2022. Weldon was a lawyer and deputy juvenile officer for The Michael W. Prenger Family Center and served on the Missouri Board of Probation. She later became manager and publisher of the Fulton Sun Gazette. Weldon graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1989.
