JCBA announces Law 101 class schedule for 2019

Each year, the Jackson County Bar Association hosts a series of law-related lectures that are free, open to the public, and taught by judges and licensed lawyers. The JCBA’s 2019 class schedule is now available, and it includes topics ranging from traffic law and family law to personal injury and jury selection.

“Law 101 is a great community education event that provides beneficial information to the public on various areas of the law,” said Ebonie Davis, vice president of JCBA. “It is an amazing opportunity for individuals to gain a better understanding of how the law impacts their everyday lives.”

All classes take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Black Archives of Mid-America, 1722 E. 17th Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri.

Light refreshments will be served. No advance registration is required to attend. For more information, contact Ebonie Davis at (913) 206-6093.
