Joplin law firm donates to local nonprofits to celebrate anniversary
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Johnson, Vorhees & Martucci donated $20,000 to four Joplin-area nonprofits.
During a July 29 event, JVM presented $10,000 to Building Bridges; $5,000 to Lafayette House; $2,500 to The Alliance of Southwest Missouri; and $2,500 to The Children’s Center.
The donations highlight the firm’s commitment to helping individuals in their community have equal access to justice. The firm regularly volunteers with community organizations and is known for its annual donation of cold weather sweatshirts and beanies to elementary school children.
“For 20 years we’ve been standing up for people who need an advocate,” said JVM Partner Roger Johnson. “Whether we’re working for a client or serving the community, the greatest honor we have is creating impact for those who need it.”
