M. Courtney Koger reappointed to Intervention Committee

TW_Appointments_Courtney KogerThe Missouri Bar Board of Governors reappointed M. Courtney Koger to the Intervention Committee during its March 4, 2022, meeting.

The nine-member Intervention Committee was established in 1985, pursuant to Supreme Court of Missouri Rule 16.03, to encourage the identification of substance use in the legal profession and address substance use or other challenges lawyers and judges may struggle with. The Board of Governors appoints five members to the committee while the Executive Council of the Judicial Conference appoints four.

Koger is a partner at Kutak Rock LLP in Kansas City who focuses on insurance coverage and business litigation, as well as appellate practice. She graduated from Harvard School of Law and joined The Missouri Bar in 1991.

“I am honored to serve on the Intervention Committee for another four years,” Koger said. “Working with the Missouri Lawyers’ Assistance Program and helping lawyers take care of themselves so that they can take care of their clients serves our profession as well as the public.”

She will serve her second four-year term starting July.
