Stith vacancy interviews next week at Supreme Court of Missouri

As per a prior media advisory, the Appellate Judicial Commission is scheduled to conduct public interviews for the Stith vacancy on the Supreme Court of Missouri next week, specifically:

* From 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19;

* From 9 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. Thursday, May 20; and

* From 9 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. Friday, May 21.

(Under Rule 10.28, the interview process is open to the public, but specific details about which interviewees are scheduled for which times are not available.)

All interviews will be conducted in the Division I courtroom of the Supreme Court Building, 207 West High Street, in Jefferson City. The commission intends to provide a closed-circuit stream (video and audio) into the Court's Division II courtroom. Seating availability will be limited due to COVID precautions, and visitors will be required to wear masks or facial coverings.

To help plan for media access, please let Communications Counsel for the Supreme Court of Missouri know as soon as practicable - but no later than noon Friday (May 14) - if you seek to provide media coverage (as defined in Court Operating Rule 16.01(e), for any portion of the interviews.
