Meet Amy Collignon Gunn, Missouri Bar Foundation trustee

Amy Collignon Gunn (1)

The Missouri Bar Foundation is a charitable, nonprofit partner to The Missouri Bar that supports bar members and their families and furthers law-related education across the state. The foundation is made possible through generous donations.

Amy Collignon Gunn was appointed to the Missouri Bar Foundation Board of Trustees during the Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar in September 2023.

Gunn is a member of The Simon Law Firm, P.C. in St. Louis where she focuses on plaintiff personal injury trial work including product liability, medical negligence, and medical device litigation. Among other recognitions, she is a past recipient of the Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award.

Here, Gunn answers some questions about her new role.

What made you interested in serving on the Board of Trustees?

“My interest in the Missouri Bar Foundation began years ago when I was honored with the Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award, which gave me confidence and pride as a young lawyer.  I have always endeavored to be a contributing member of our legal community and until now that service has occurred on other boards and organizations. I want to give back to the state bar.  Receiving the call to join the Board of Trustees has given me that opportunity, for which I am grateful.”

What do you want lawyers to know about The Missouri Bar Foundation?

“I hope every member of The Missouri Bar can take some time to acknowledge the importance of and support the good work of the foundation.”
