Meet your new District 2 YLS Council Member 2021: Erin Lueker

The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section works to facilitate the professional growth and public service of newly admitted Missouri lawyers. Erin Lueker has been elected to the council from Troy, MO.  She represents District 2, which serves a large region in northeast Missouri covering the following counties: Adair, Audrain, Chariton, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Lincoln, Linn, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Putnam, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby and Sullivan.

Erin Lueker

What are you most looking forward to in your role as a YLS Council member? I am looking forward to serving as a voice for a more rural district on the YLS Council and for finding ways to provide more resources for attorneys in my district.

What do you want other young lawyers to learn about the YLS or The Missouri Bar? New attorneys often face an onslaught of new information and accompanying questions when joining the workforce. I highly encourage new attorneys to take the time to review the resources available on connect.mobar and on The Missouri Bar website. It is a wealth of quality information.

What do you like to do on a day off? On my days off, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my little boy and husband. We spend countless hours in parks, riding bikes, and swimming.
