Meet your new YLS Council member for District 3: Anthony T. Ealy

The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section exists to facilitate the professional development and public service of newly admitted Missouri lawyers. Anthony Ealy is the newly elected representative for District 3 on the YLS Council. An associate with Blake & Uhlig, P.A. in Kansas City, Ealy’s district covers Jackson County.

What are you most looking forward to in your role as a YLS Council member? I am anticipating being a resource for law students looking for opportunities in Kansas City, mainly from Mizzou law. I am also looking forward to serving in any capacity I can. 

What do you want other young lawyers to learn about the YLS or The Missouri Bar? Being involved in YLS is a good way to connect with other young attorneys across the spectrum. Many are ambitious and go on to move up in the ranks or within their passion, whether that be political, judicial, or legal. 

What do you like to do on a day off? I enjoy gaining experiences and find ways to get my adrenaline going. I’m also a deacon in training (not yet ordained) and enjoy tennis.
