Meet your new YLS Council members for District 6: Sarah Ernst and Paige K. Wheeler
The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section works to facilitate the professional growth and public service of newly admitted Missouri lawyers. Sarah Ernst and Paige K. Wheeler were both recently elected to represent District 6, covering the counties of Cole, Moniteau and Osage.
Both Ernst and Wheeler work for the Missouri Attorney General’s office in Jefferson City.

What are you most looking forward to in your role as a YLS Council member? I am most excited to connect with and learn from other attorneys throughout Missouri. I am also looking forward to serving the legal community and contributing to its professional growth.
What do you want other young lawyers to learn about the YLS or The Missouri Bar? I want other young lawyers to learn about and become aware of everything The Missouri Bar has to offer and about the resources available to them.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off? On my days off I enjoy golfing with my husband and friends, indulging in Mexican food, and cuddling with my newborn baby, Anderson.
Is there anything you would like to add? I am excited to be a member of the Young Lawyers’ Section and am grateful for this opportunity.

What are you most looking forward to in your role as a YLS Council member? As a YLS Council member, I am looking forward to providing networking opportunities for new lawyers through the organizing of service programs and social events.
What do you want other young lawyers to learn about the YLS or The Missouri Bar? As a new attorney, the legal field can seem hard to navigate at first. Getting involved with YLS is a great way to serve your community while also interacting with other newly admitted lawyers who can be great sources of information. Whether you are looking for a mentor or want to form social and professional relationships with other lawyers, YLS is a great place to start building your network.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off? If it’s a day off during the summer, my favorite way to spend it is soaking up the sun at the Lake of the Ozarks.
