Meet your new YLS District 3 representative: Andrew Tremonti
Andrew Tremonti was recently elected to represent District 3 on The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section Council, which encompasses Jackson County. YLS works to facilitate the professional growth and public service of new and recently admitted Missouri lawyers. The YLS Council is comprised of approximately 35 lawyers from districts across the state who are elected by their peers to serve two-year terms.
Tremonti is a lawyer with McCormick, Gordon, Bloskey & Hughes, PA, where he focuses on civil and business litigation with an emphasis in residential and construction defect litigation. He obtained his undergraduate degree in human biology from the University of Kansas and earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Tremonti answered the following questions to help his constituents get to know him.
What are you most looking forward to in your role as a YLS Council member?
“I look forward to becoming more involved with The Missouri Bar, collaborating with other members across the state, and working towards enhancing the growth and public service of all YLS members.”
What do you want other young lawyers to learn about the YLS or The Missouri Bar?
“One of the things I want other young lawyers to learn about YLS and The Missouri Bar is all of the opportunities and benefits that are available to them that they may not currently know about.”
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
“My favorite way to spend a day off is either golfing, going to new or relatively unknown local restaurants with friends, or just hanging around the house with my dog.”
Is there anything else you would like to add?
“If anyone has any questions about YLS, the benefits and opportunities available as young lawyers, or has a question and wants to reach out, I’m more than happy to help.”
