Mini Law School for the Public in St. Louis kicks off March 14
The more you know about the laws that affect you, the easier it is to make good decisions about your life, your family and your finances. This spring, St. Louis residents will once again have the opportunity to learn more about legal basics during Mini Law School for the Public.
The more you know about the laws that affect you, the easier it is to make good decisions about your life, your family and your finances. This spring, St. Louis residents will once again have the opportunity to learn more about legal basics during Mini Law School for the Public.
Over the course of six weeks, Mini Law School attendees will hear entertaining and engaging lectures from local lawyers and scholars. There’s no tests or homework–just great courses for curious adults. Topics up for discussion include the role of Supreme Courts featuring Chief Justice Zel M. Fischer of the Supreme Court of Missouri, international law and the global economy, artificial intelligence, debunking TV myths when it comes to evidence in criminal cases, notable legal changes following the events in Ferguson and more.
Participants will meet each Wednesday at the St. Louis County Government Complex in Clayton. A $35 fee covers the six-week series, and light refreshments will be served each night.
