Missouri Bar Board of Governors set to meet July 16

Members of The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, each elected to represent lawyers from their respective districts, will meet Friday, July 16, 2021, via video conference.

During the meeting, the board will hear updates on bar finances, CLE programs and conferences, government relations, Annual Meeting, and other operating matters. Several special committees will also provide reports, including those pertaining to COVID-19 technology assistance grants, lawyer well-being, lawyers of color, and legislative procedures.

Several committees and commissions have upcoming vacancies, and those positions will be announced and open to discussion. In addition, a representative from the Young Lawyers’ Section will share proposed by-law amendments.

The meeting will conclude with a vice-president candidate forum and an election for the appellate district board seats in western and southern Missouri.
