Missouri Bar Board of Governors set to meet May 12-13

Members of The Missouri Bar Board of Governors will convene this week in Jefferson City. Board members, who are elected by lawyers within their respective districts, will review and discuss a variety of matters.

The meeting’s agenda includes updates from the Missouri Court Automation Committee, the Board Assessment Committee, and The Missouri Bar Foundation. In addition, the board will review the bar’s finances and discuss recent appointments to the Legal Services of Southern Missouri Board of Governors, the Judicial Performance Review Committee, the ABA House of Delegates, and the Missouri Press-Bar Commission.

All Missouri Bar officers will provide a report to the board, and members will hear the latest news from the bar’s Strategic Planning Committee, Lawyers Living Well Special Committee, and government relations department.
