Sebrina Barrett, executive director of The Missouri Bar, was recognized by the National Association of Bar Executives Wednesday.

Barrett, who currently serves as NABE secretary, received the 2018 President’s Award for Excellence from Karen Hutchins, 2018-19 NABE president and executive director of the Arkansas Bar Association.

“[Barrett] always was eager to volunteer and assist wherever needed,” Hutchins said. “She also provided me great counsel and helped me focus on opportunities in every situation throughout my year as NABE president. With all her other responsibilities, she happily took on a new position created as a result of our strategic plan, […] the position of the NABE board liaison to our new consultant services.”

The award presentation was part of NABE’s 2019 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, held Aug. 6-8 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

“I am honored to serve on the NABE Board with dedicated bar professionals focused on providing resources and building relationships for all of our hard-working members who are devoted to helping lawyers even better serve their clients,” Barrett said.
