Missouri Bar reopens practice resource library

Missouri Bar members can once again check out publications from the Practice Resource Library – including more than 150 books on topics ranging from cybersecurity and unbundling services to disaster planning.

New publications have recently been added, including:

  • “Law Office Policies, Procedures, and Operations Manual, Seventh Edition;”
  • “Own the Map: Marketing Your Law Firm's Address Online;”
  • “The Ultimate Guide to Adobe Acrobat DC, Second Edition;” and
  • “LinkedIn(R) Marketing Techniques for Law and Professional Practices, Second Edition.”

“The Practice Resource Library is part of the portfolio of resources that we provide to support Missouri lawyers looking to open, build, manage, protect, or wind down a law practice,” Director of Member Services Trevor Mulholland said. “Last year, more than 725 members utilized the hundreds of white papers, comparison charts, and checklists in the Practice Management Center, and the Practice Resource Library now allows members to dive deeper into specific practice management or legal tech-related topics.”

The Missouri Bar closed the Practice Resource Library in 2020 due to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“While the library was closed, Member Services reviewed every publication – replacing those that needed to be updated and providing new publications to members,” Mulholland said. “We’ll continue to monitor emerging trends in practice management and legal technology to ensure Missouri Bar members have access to the tools and resources they need to even better serve their clients.”

Books are loaned for 21 days and there is a $3 shipping fee per book.
