Missouri lawyers elect 2019-20 members of Board of Governors, Young Lawyers' Section Council

The lawyers of Missouri, voting in districts throughout the state, elected nine new members to the 45-member Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar and retained 14 incumbents for new terms beginning this September.

The lawyers of Missouri, voting in districts throughout the state, elected nine new members to the 45-member Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar and retained 14 incumbents for new terms beginning this September. Members of the Board of Governors are elected to serve two-year terms. Newly elected members of the Board of Governors include:

District 3: Douglas Harris of Warrensburg

District 4: Joshua L. Hill of Jefferson City

District 8: Kate Noland of Liberty

District 10: Erica Mynarich of Springfield

District 11: Jennifer Matthew of St. Louis

District 12: Marc Erickson of Kansas City

District 13: Hon. Sandra West of Winona

District 15: Sander Sowers of Columbia

Southern District Diversity Seat: Christa Moss of Springfield

 

The following members of the Board of Governors were re-elected to a two-year term:

District 1: Hon. W. Douglas Thomson of Maryville

District 5: Hon. Charles Curless of Lamar

District 6: Andrew Lyskowski of Camdenton

District 7: Scott Robbins of Poplar Bluff

District 9: Amy Bender-Levy of Creve Coeur and Michael Downey of St. Louis

District 11: Brent Dulle and Maria Zschoche of St. Louis

District 12: Hon. Joe Dandurand and Lauren Tucker McCubbin of Kansas City

District 14: Eric Wulff of St. Charles

Western District Diversity Seat: Alexandra Wilson of Kansas City

Missouri Bar President-elect Tom Bender of Kansas City andVice President John Gunn of St. Louis were automatically retained for another term as they are serving as elected officers of the bar.

 

Members of the state bar Young Lawyers’ Section (YLS) elected six new members to that group’s governing council and re-elected 10 council members. New members of the council include:

District 3: Danielle Atchison, Amy Jackson and Sammi Sader of Kansas City

District 8: Adam Ford and Ashley Moore of St. Louis

District 9: Erin Pfirrman of St. Louis

 

Incumbents elected to another term on the Young Lawyers’ Section Council are:

District 2: Corey Moon of Edina

District 3: Bobby Thrasher of Kansas City and Kelly Collins of Independence

District 6: David McCain of Jefferson City

District 8: Matthew Jett of St. Louis

District 9: Shatrasha Stone of St. Louis

District 11: Nathan Dunville of Springfield

District 12: Michele Moyer of Camdenton

Jose Caldera of Columbia and Lauren Collins of St. Louis were automatically retained as both are serving as elected officers of the section’s council.

The newly elected and returning members of both groups will take office at the 2019 Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar, which takes place Sept. 18-20, 2019, in Branson.
