700-plus lawyers and judges connect during Annual Meeting in St. Louis

More than 700 lawyers and judges traveled to St. Louis Sept. 18-20 to attend the Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar, where they had a chance to attend insightful CLEs; meet new acquaintances and catch up with old friends; connect with the new bar officers; and celebrate colleagues leaving a positive impact on the profession. Meet the 2024-2025 Leadership Academy Class
Twelve young lawyers have been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Missouri Bar Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy was developed in 2000 to encourage diversity among the bar’s leadership by recruiting young lawyers (those recently admitted to the bar under the age of 40 or those admitted for 10 years or fewer) who have already shown leadership qualities within their communities. Each class contains about a dozen lawyers who are diverse in terms of sex, race, ethnicity, practice area, and geography.

Nearly 200 #NewMOLawyers sworn in during Fall Enrollment Ceremonies
The Missouri Bar celebrated 194 new lawyers who took their oath of admission and were sworn in to the legal profession today during multiple Fall Enrollment Ceremonies at the Supreme Court of Missouri building in Jefferson City. Those lawyers were among the 286 individuals who passed the July Bar Exam and met all other admission criteria.

Each year, The Missouri Bar, The Missouri Bar Foundation, and The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section present awards to deserving lawyers, judges, and community members. This year’s awardees were recognized Sept. 18-20 during Annual Meeting in St. Louis.
