#MOLawyersHelp: Browse pro bono opportunities through The Missouri Bar

Pro bono work plays a special role in the lives and careers of many Missouri lawyers. In an effort to help lawyers even better serve their clients and communities, The Missouri Bar has launched a new digital space where members can access opportunities for pro bono work and share about their efforts.

On the Pro Bono Resources page at MoBar.org, lawyers can sign up to assist fellow Missourians through Missouri.FreeLegalAnswers.org, the bar’s disaster legal services hotline, and third-party partners, including legal services organizations throughout the state. For inspiration, page visitors can view stories and videos highlighting the great work Missouri lawyers are doing to support their neighbors in need.

The page is also a place to celebrate and honor the work of Missouri lawyers who help close the access to justice gap. Lawyers are encouraged to voluntarily report their pro bono hours, and individuals who complete 40 hours or more of pro bono in a calendar year will receive special recognition, including a spot on the annual Missouri Bar Pro Bono Wall of Fame. Additionally, there are opportunities to nominate lawyers for special pro bono awards.

To learn more and get involved, visit the Pro Bono Resources page at MoBar.org and look for #MOLawyersHelp on social media.
