St. Louis Area

Jill Palmquist has joined Husch Blackwell as partner in its St. Louis office. A noted trust and estates lawyer, Palmquist is a member of the firm's financial services and capital markets industry team and its private wealth practice group.

Palmquist chiefly represents individuals and families in developing and using estate planning tools to preserve and transfer wealth. "Our private wealth group has added significant depth in Missouri and across the country in the past year," said Eric Ess, the head of Husch Blackwell’s private wealth practice group. "Jill’s arrival further demonstrates our firm's commitment to growing this practice with high-quality practitioners who share our client-service ethic."

Palmquist received her J.D. cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Dallas.

Mid-Missouri Area

Tamar E. Hodges has joined Husch Blackwell’s healthcare practice as an associate in the firm's Jefferson City office.

Hodges earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and her B.S. in nursing from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Before attending law school, she worked as a registered nurse at nationally-ranked hospitals in both St. Louis and Atlanta.

Hodges received a 2019 Young Lawyers Division Award of Merit from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and a 2016 Leaders of Tomorrow Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly as part of its annual Women's Justice Awards series.
