Network with #MOLawyers during 2024 Annual Meeting luncheons, receptions
The Missouri Bar Annual Meeting/Missouri Judicial Conference is less than a month away, but there is still time to register! The event’s luncheons and receptions are perfect opportunities for lawyers to network with and celebrate fellow legal professionals.
Luncheons
The separately ticketed Missouri Bar Foundation and Public Service Awards Luncheon will kick off the three days of social gatherings, CLE programs, and networking opportunities. From noon-1:30 p.m. Sept. 18, The Missouri Bar Foundation will recognize members of the bar who have performed exemplary work in trial and appellate advocacy, legal writing, professionalism, and contributions to the administration of justice. From noon-1:40 p.m. Sept. 19, the Opening Luncheon gives lawyers and judges the chance to enjoy lunch and hear an update on Missouri’s justice system during the Chief Justice’s Address, presented by Hon. Mary R. Russell. The lunch will also include the passing of the gavel from Missouri Bar President Megan Phillips to President-Elect Shelly Dreyer, as well as recognition of this year’s class of Senior Counselors.
Receptions
Networking and fun doesn’t end at 5 p.m.
Annual Meeting’s goal is for attendees to cultivate connections and feel the camaraderie of fellow legal professionals. This begins with the warm welcome of the President’s and Chief Justice’s Opening Night Reception from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 18. During this reception, lawyers and judges can dine on delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages in a relaxed, casual setting.
The following night, from 6-8 p.m., lawyers can hit the soccer fields at this year’s Best of Missouri Reception location, CITYPARK - ULTRA Club. This is the perfect environment to transfer the positive energy from the day’s impactful, future-directed educational sessions and inspiring celebrations of the profession to an atmosphere filled with shared experience and camaraderie.
If you want to continue that energy after the Best of Missouri Reception, head to the YLS-Sponsored Best of Missouri Post-Party at 8 p.m.
There will be a few affiliate receptions prior to the Opening Reception and Best of Missouri Reception, so make sure to check the Annual Meeting schedule.

Can’t attend in person? The Virtual Annual Meeting “Lunch & Learn” Oct. 7-11 will showcase all the CLE programs from the in-person Annual Meeting.
