New, young lawyers: Participate in virtual focus groups to help shape The Missouri Bar

As part of its service project, the 2025-2026 Missouri Bar Leadership Academy class is inviting lawyers who have been practicing for 10 years or less to participate in small virtual focus groups March 31-April 15 to discuss their needs, wants, and perceptions of The Missouri Bar.

These perspectives will help guide the class as it creates recommendations for how The Missouri Bar can even better support and meet the needs of lawyers now and moving forward in a relevant, timely, and impactful way.

The Leadership Academy will present its findings and recommendations to The Missouri Bar Board of Governors at the Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar, Sept. 16-18.

About Leadership Academy

Every year, The Missouri Bar brings together a select group of new and young lawyers to serve on Leadership Academy. Each class completes a service project, engages in leadership workshops, networks with leaders in Missouri’s legal profession, and attends bar meetings. Following graduation, members continue to serve The Missouri Bar in an active capacity for two years.
