Nominate community-focused individuals, organizations for the YLS Liberty Bell, Tom Cochran awards by May 15

Do you know a non-lawyer or non-legal organization that has even better helped Missourians by promoting the advancement of justice? How about a Missouri lawyer who has shown outstanding commitment to community service activities? The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Liberty Bell and Tom Cochran Community Service awards. 

Liberty Bell Award 

The Liberty Bell Award recognizes a non-lawyer or non-legal organization in Missouri that engages in public service activities that enhance the legal community or are dedicated to the advancement of justice. Nominations are due May 15.

Tom Cochran Community Service Award 

Named after Thomas D. Cochran, the Tom Cochran Community Service Award recognizes a Missouri Bar member whose service and professionalism has enhanced their community. Nominations are due May 15.
