Rebecca Leonard awarded for family law work

Rebecca L. Leonard received this year’s Roger P. Krumm Family Law Award for her dedication to improving the practice of family law.

The Family Law Section of The Missouri Bar presents the annual award to a family law lawyer who has shown a high level of competence, skill, integrity, commitment, and dedication toward the advancement of family law, as well as toward the families involved in family law matters. The award is named after Roger Krumm, a well-respected family law lawyer.

Leonard is a partner at Leonard Rodarte Siegel LLC in Lee’s Summit and has been representing clients in family law matters for more than 20 years. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and is a member of the state bar’s Family Law Section.

“We are so lucky to have a career in the family law field,” Leonard said. “Each and every day, we have the opportunity to support, give guidance to our clients who are going through such a difficult time in their lives, and I’m so thankful for that opportunity.”

Leonard received the 2021 award Aug. 5 during The Missouri Bar’s virtual Family Law Conference.
