State of the Judiciary address goes virtual

Chief Justice George W. Draper III will deliver the annual State of the Judiciary address virtually next week.

"Given that individual health concerns remain in flux due to the nature of the coronavirus, out of an abundance of caution for all involved and after discussions with legislative leaders, Chief Justice George W. Draper III will be delivering this year's state of the judiciary address in a virtual format as well," the Supreme Court of Missouri said in a news release on Friday.

The State of the Judiciary address will be delivered in a written form mid-morning on Tuesday to the Missouri House of Representatives and Missouri Senate. The video will be posted to the Missouri Court website.

The Supreme Court of Missouri has been holding business virtually since mid-March due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
