The Missouri Bar Board of Governors to meet virtually Friday

The business of The Missouri Bar has not stopped as a result of the current pandemic, but in order to maintain social distancing guidelines the Board of Governors will conduct its 2020 Spring meeting virtually at 9 a.m. this Friday, May 8.

As part of the meeting, board members will be kept up to date with The Missouri Bar’s COVID-19 Response Task Force recommendations and efforts to aid lawyers and the profession in navigating the crisis. Additional topics for discussion include financial data, appointments, the status of all upcoming Missouri Bar meetings and events, and a review of the bar’s enrollment fee refund procedures. The Young Lawyers’ Section Council is requesting an amendment to its bylaws to expand the number of diversity seats on the YLS Council. Plus, current officers will give their standing reports. For the full agenda click here.

The Missouri Bar is dedicated to continuing to educate members about the policy-making body’s meetings and decisions as we strive to find new and improved ways to help lawyers even better serve their clients.
