The Missouri Lawyers' Assistance Program is a professional, confidential counseling program for members of The Missouri Bar, immediate family members who reside with them, and law students. Through a variety of free services, MOLAP helps individuals overcome personal concerns such as substance use, depression, stress, and burnout. All MOLAP services are free and strictly confidential. For decades, MoBarCLE has produced relevant, researched, and respected programs, publications, and conferences that help lawyers even better serve their clients. Plus, MoBarCLE offers in-person programs and webinars – allowing lawyers to earn live or self-study CLE credit at a time and place that’s convenient.

Journal of The Missouri Bar
The Journal of The Missouri Bar is the bar’s official publication. Published six times annually, the Journal carries substantive articles on timely legal issues, as well as regular columns, practice management articles, and features covering cutting-edge topics that are trending in the legal profession. Notices of Supreme Court rule changes, upcoming meetings, continuing legal education programs, and more may also be found in each issue. connect.MOBAR
Digital networking is simplified through connect.MOBAR. On this virtual platform, lawyers from across the state can collaborate and exchange knowledge through online communities. You can also communicate with members of any Missouri Bar committees and download files from an extensive forms bank. Get started here.

Committees and Sections 
Committees and sections represent the driving forces behind the work and activities of The Missouri Bar, and with more than 40 to choose from, all lawyers can find one that fits their professional interests. Committee members are lawyers who practice in or are passionate about a particular area of law, from Animal Law to Workers Compensation. Explore various committees here. In addition, committees gather virtually at least twice a year for Fall Committee Meetings and Spring Committee Meetings. These sessions typically include no-cost CLE programming and opportunities to network.

Research and writing tools
Research and writing play a major part in being a lawyer, so we’re here to help you along the way. Did you know all Missouri lawyers have free access to Fastcase legal research through The Missouri Bar? In addition, MoBar Net, developed through a partnership with REJIS, offers lawyers online access to Missouri DOR records, municipal courts, and warrant and arrest information in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. LawyerSearch
LawyerSearch is designed to link lawyers who are accepting new clients with clients in need of services. To be included in the search, lawyers must complete a profile sharing their area of practice, office location, and any language proficiencies. Once a lawyer is in the system, members of the public can find them by searching for potential matches by zip code, language needs, and area of legal concern. Opt in to use LawyerSearch here.

Ask an Expert at Affinity Consulting
Missouri Bar members have two easy ways to get legal technology and law practice management questions answered by an expert at Affinity Consulting Group. At no cost, members can email their questions to an expert or schedule a one-on-one, remote consultation. Questions can be about anything related to running a law firm: technology, management, leadership, software selection, process mapping - you name it.
