Volunteer opportunity: Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition judges needed

Lawyers have a passion for improving the profession and access to legal services, and they can help facilitate that by encouraging today’s youth to learn about government and the judicial system. The Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition provides a unique opportunity for lawyers to do just that.

The Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition is The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ (BAMSL) longest running program. The mock trials are structured like real courtroom trials following similar rules and procedures to allow students to learn firsthand how the legal system works and the role judges, lawyers, juries, and witnesses play.

BAMSL is looking for volunteer lawyers to serve as judges and scoring jurors for regional and state competitions. The dates for the competitions are below.
