Winter weather concerns prompt court, bar center closures

Most Missouri Bar services will still be available as staff work remotely

The Missouri Bar Center will be closed Jan. 9, 2024, due to winter weather concerns. Most services will still be available as staff work remotely. 

Per courts.mo.gov, the following courts will be closed Jan. 9:

  • Adair County circuit court
  • Andrew County circuit court
  • Atchison County circuit court 
  • Audrain County circuit court
  • Barton County circuit clerk's offices and juvenile office 
  • Bollinger County circuit court – closing at 11 a.m.
  • Buchanan County circuit court
  • Caldwell County circuit court
  • Cass County circuit court
  • Cedar County circuit clerk's offices and juvenile office 
  • Clinton County circuit court
  • Crawford County circuit court
  • Dade County circuit clerk's offices and juvenile office 
  • Daviess County circuit court
  • DeKalb County circuit court
  • Dent County circuit court
  • Gentry County circuit court 
  • Holt County circuit court 
  • Jackson County circuit court – closed for most in-person proceedings and business
  • Johnson County circuit court
  • Knox County circuit court
  • Lewis County circuit court
  • Livingston County circuit court
  • Macon County circuit court
  • Moniteau County circuit court 
  • Montgomery County circuit court
  • Nodaway County circuit court 
  • Ray County circuit court
  • Saline County circuit court
  • Shelby County circuit court
  • Vernon County circuit clerk's offices and juvenile office 
  • Warren County circuit court
  • Worth County circuit court

The judicial offices of the 16th Judicial Circuit will also be closed.
