YLS seeks nominees for District 5 vacancy on leadership council

There is a vacancy currently on The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers' Section (YLS) Council in District 5 (Boone, Callaway, Cooper, Howard and Saline counties). The YLS Council will fill the vacancy by majority vote.

The term for the council seat will end September 2023, to fill the remaining time left of the two-year term. The individual who fills the vacancy may then run for a full two-year term (2023-2025) in the next general election.

The council requests that those interested in serving complete the nominating petition and file it with Brett Rolwes, The Missouri Bar YLS liaison, by March 31. Those filing should include a resume and brief statement explaining their interest in serving on the YLS Council. All eligible petitions received will be submitted to the YLS Council for consideration, and the new representatives will be elected by the council by the end of April.
