YLS seeks nominees for St. Louis County vacancy on leadership council, nomination deadline is April 4

A vacancy exists on the Young Lawyers' Section (YLS) Council. The vacancy is in District 8 (St. Louis County). The YLS Council will fill the vacancy by majority vote.

The term for the council seat will end September 2022, to fill the remaining time left of a two-year term. The individual who fills the vacancy, if still eligible, may then run for a full two-year term (2022-2024) in the next general election this summer.

The council requests that those interested in serving complete the nominating petition and file it with Brett Rolwes, The Missouri Bar YLS liaison, by 4 p.m., Monday, April 4. The council invites those who file to include a resume and brief statement explaining their interest in serving on the YLS Council. All eligible petitions received will be submitted to the YLS Council for consideration, and the new representative will be elected by the council.

Information about the council is available at https://mobar.org/site/content/About/Young_Lawyers_Section.aspx
