The Young Lawyers’ Section Council is accepting nominations for the young lawyer trustee on the Missouri Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. The mission of the Young Lawyers' Section is to enhance the professional growth and public service of new and recently admitted Missouri lawyers. Its governing body is the YLS Council, which is composed of approximately 35 young lawyers elected for two-year terms from districts across the state.  YLS Website

The young lawyer trustee must have a birth date greater than 9/18/1983 or have been admitted to the practice of law after 9/18/2009.

The young lawyer trustee shall serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2020.  

Nominations shall be made by petitions signed by not less than five members of The Missouri Bar in good standing.

All petitions with the minimum required five (5) signatures of members of the Young Lawyers’ Section in good standing must be received by mail or email no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019.
