On March 4, The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section sponsored meals for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law’s Rural Attorney Panel.

The panel included Hon. Harold Dump and Hon. Brandon Baker of the 27th Circuit Court, along with YLS Council member Maggie McConville.

Panelists encouraged students to consider practicing law in rural areas. They discussed how to find jobs in rural areas, practice types to expect, navigating seeing clients in the community, and more.
