Board of Governors will meet in Jefferson City, visit lawmakers

Many members of The Missouri Bar Board of Governors will be in Jefferson City Feb. 28 for the state bar’s Legislative Day at the Missouri State Capitol. During the annual event, board members will be joined by other Missouri Bar volunteers, who together will meet with their lawmakers to discuss the services and resources The Missouri Bar offers Missouri citizens and talk over bar-drafted legislation. Several bar-drafted proposals are advancing through the legislative process this session.

In addition to visiting the capitol, the board will meet at 1 p.m., Feb. 27, at The Missouri Bar Center located at 326 Monroe St. in Jefferson City. The meeting agenda includes a financial report, appointments, legislative update and reports from the officers.
