It's time to focus on your well-being: A message from The Missouri Bar president

The Missouri Bar, through our Lawyers Living Well Special Committee, has been working diligently to develop programs and resources for Missouri lawyers that facilitate our wellness, as well as that of those who surround us. Those of us who are struggling often avoid showing it to the outside world. From small, but unjustified, expressions of anger to concerning substance use or even suicide, the manifestations of our challenges are as different as they are certain.

Well-Being Week in Law is May 2-6. The Missouri Bar is committed to keeping the interests of our members front and center, including by harnessing the momentum of the national lawyer well-being movement with our own offerings, which include suggested activities and resources tied to physical, spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional well-being. It is our continuing hope that Missouri lawyers connect with these efforts generally and participate in offerings of interest during Well-Being Week in Law.

Specific information about the programs and resources mentioned above, as well as the overall laudable work of our Lawyers Living Well Special Committee, can be found at MoBar.org or by joining the conversation on its social media platforms using #MOLawyersLivingWell and #WellBeingWeekinLaw.

We care about you and strive to provide content and resources to help whenever and however your personal well-being (or that of those with whom you are surrounded) may require.
