Well-being survey to be sent to random sample of Missouri lawyers
This survey is now open to all Missouri lawyers. Find more information and a link to the survey here.
The University of Utah School of Medicine, on behalf of The Missouri Bar, will send a survey this Thursday, April 10, to a randomly selected group of lawyers in the state.
The confidential survey will be emailed to the selected lawyers and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Questions will center around well-being in the profession.
The survey will be open for a period of two weeks. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain completely confidential.
The Missouri Bar’s Standing Committee on Well-being in the Profession has commissioned the survey in order to support its goals of increasing awareness, improving education and policies, and reducing stigma related to lawyer substance use and mental health.
The study is intended to identify well-being measures relevant to legal professionals with the aim of developing meaningful, evidence-based approaches to support lawyers' mental and physical well-being and help them even better serve their clients and communities. Participants’ insights will contribute to research that can help shape future initiatives and best practices.
