Missouri lawyers elect 2024-2025 Board of Governors and YLS Council
The lawyers of Missouri, voting in districts throughout the state, elected four members to the 45-member Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar and retained 15 incumbents for new terms beginning this September. Click here to learn about the Board of Governors and the election.
Five lawyers were also recently elected to serve on the 35-member Young Lawyers’ Section Council, the governing body of The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section. Click here to learn about YLS and the elections.
The newly elected and returning board and council members will take office at the conclusion of the 2024 Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar, which takes place Sept. 18-20 in St. Louis.
Lawyers invited to participate in 2024 Out of Darkness Walks
Research shows that lawyers are consistently near or at the top of the list of professions with the highest suicide rates. To help bring awareness and hope, The Missouri Bar’s Committee on Well-Being in the Profession is inviting lawyers, judges, and law students to participate in one of four Out of the Darkness Walks taking place across the state this fall.

Each year, The Missouri Bar, The Missouri Bar Foundation, and The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section present awards to deserving lawyers, judges, and community members. This year’s awardees will be recognized Sept. 18-20 during Annual Meeting in St. Louis.
