Dysart Taylor is pleased to announce B.I. Howard has been elected a shareholder/director at the firm. Howard joins the firm’s group of now 12 shareholders/directors.

Howard focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, corporate law and real estate matters. His extensive knowledge and experience in these areas allow him to advise individuals and businesses of all sizes throughout the legal process and develop solutions that are aligned with his clients’ goals and objectives.

Some of his case matter highlights while at the firm include representing family members in a complex trust administration involving multiple high-net-worth corporations and partnerships and assisting a family with complex probate distribution involving over 20 heirs living all over the country.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced a powerful expansion of its business practice with the addition of an impressive group of corporate, private equity, healthcare, finance and tax lawyers who further enhance the firm’s robust transactional capabilities. Andrew Smolik and Michael Flood join Norton Rose Fulbright’s St. Louis office.

Andrew Smolik (St. Louis) advises public and private clients on acquisitions, divestitures and ongoing outside general counsel representation. Earlier in his career, Andrew served as General Counsel to the Missouri Department of Economic Development and also as Senior Associate for Missouri Technology Corporation. Licensed in Missouri, Andrew earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, an MBA from Washington University-St. Louis Olin Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University.

Michael Flood (St. Louis) advises healthcare providers, investors and other stakeholders on regulatory and transactional matters. This includes structuring, assessing and executing healthcare M&A and financing transactions in compliance with federal and state regulations, change of ownership requirements and fraud and abuse laws. He is licensed in Missouri, Illinois and the District of Columbia. Mike earned his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

National law firm Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Litigation Associate Chase J. Rose to the firm’s St. Louis office. A member of the firm’s Health Care and Life Sciences industry team, Rose focuses his practice on representing hospitals, medical professionals, and manufacturers in a variety of actions.

Rose has experience advocating for clients in federal and state courts, including at the appellate level. He has briefed multiple cases in state and federal courts of appeals concerning issues such as evidentiary admissibility, statutory interpretation, and alleged constitutional violations. Further, he has argued cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals, achieving favorable outcomes.

Prior to joining the firm, Rose was an associate at another St. Louis-area law firm. He earned his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law.
