Simmons Hanly Conroy has elevated Jared Hausmann to shareholder, effective Jan. 3.
Based in the firm’s Alton office, Hausmann focuses his practice on helping individuals and their families who have been affected by mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. His practice concentrates on motions, defendant discovery, and appeals.
Before joining the firm in 2016, Hausmann worked for two years as a law clerk in the staff attorney’s office of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Hausmann received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from St. Louis University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from Eastern Illinois University.

Struby focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights. He represents clients in the areas of title insurance claims, breach of contract, suits on note, collections, tax sales, lien priority, condemnation/eminent domain, residential and commercial evictions, and commercial real estate purchases. In addition, he assists loan servicing clients develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Struby earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
